My head lights come on on their own as I am driving along. also when I need full beam it comes on for a few seconds and then goes back to the dipped position.

I have a 2002 Ulysse.

Check the BSM unit in engine bay they get wet inside and causes all sorts of problems headlights going on/off by them self is one of them.
Had problem with my headlights going on and off by there own and it was the this BSM unit.
