| 2.0 16v Petrol... ...if I'm going to continue to get this bad economy, I'm at least going to boost the power!! Anyone know of anywhere that can increase the power on my 2.0 16v petrol Ulysse?? Superchips say they can give me another 8 bhp for around £300 but that hardly seems worth it... Any other suggestions gratefully received...

| It was broken, honest | Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... What fuel consumption are you getting, we get 26mpg round town and more if we mix it with motorway driving. That's for a petrol auto eleganza. It is going to converted to LPG in 2 weeks, so it will be £0.34 per litre then. Did you get your Connect contract sorted out.

| Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... Getting 440 miles to the tankful.. Not good for 80 litres.. Still, we are only on it's 2nd tank so hopefully will improve.. Could just do with more power though and with the diesel's being so upgradeable... Still haven't sorted the Connect out yet... but also haven't chased them... You getting yours converted to LPG?? How much will that cost? What happens to the performance of the car?

| :) | Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... Andy (poggy) will probably be offline now so I will try to answer what you two asked: The answer to performance is that I think he found the loss would be negligible. I am pretty sure he said it would be replacing the spare wheel so he will have a tyre weld type kit.

| Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... Hi there connect problem is that my dealer didn't activate it when I bought it.. It seems to be difficult to even get them to acknowledge that the connect system even exists, let alone get them to activate it. I'd like to be able to do it myself directly with Fiat but don't know where to start... Cheers in advance

| It was broken, honest | Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... That's right, the LPG tank fits into the spare wheel well and they give you a can of tyre weld. I won't use the tyre weld though as it will probably destroy the pressure sensing valves. Most of the time we will keep the spare in the boot. I have used mobile repair people before to fix punctures and they even come out at night, the AA normally pick up the cost of this as well. The cost has come down to £1,350.00 + VAT now, which means it will take about 12 months to get the money back. Apparently the new sequential system uses a second set of injectors so it doesn't affect performance much and doesn't interfere with the body computer. I also opted for the upper cylinder lubrication package which prevents any valve wear. You get cheaper tax and subject to a quick check you don't have to pay congestion charges apparently.

| 5vp3r m0d | Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... Ah, well basically you need to get the form from the dealership, and that, together with the reference number [need to see where this is gleaned from, can't recall] is faxed over to the Connect branch... You then need a SIM card [don't use BT PAYG, it won't work] - and then phone Milan to activate it. There is an old thread on here about how to do it, let me have a mooch.... http://www.fiatforum.com/ulysse/3190-new-ulysse-connect-nav.html Wow, how old ![]() Stu

| Re: 2.0 16v Petrol... Thanks Stuart... waded through the post (whew!) and on page 5 was the phone number for Milan to activate the system... They're going to email something through for me to fill in and send back.... Will let you know how I get on...
