Hi

Can anyone tell me where I can get a new set of front indicator bulb holders for a 54 plate as my front indicators aren't working anymore have checked the bulbs and they are ok.

Read on here I think that this was a common problem and that a new set of these should fix it.

We're currently having the same problem - however it's very likely to be the contacts inside the headlight unit which are dirty. Mirror, torch and wire brush or wet and dry required - vaseline when done.

Here's what I did should anyone have the same problem;

1) Removed the holders from the car & took the bulbs out.
2) Placed the holders in warm water containing a small cup of vinegar and salt for around 2hrs.
3) After they had dried I got some fine sand paper wrapped round a pencil and gently cleaned the points to get rid of the remaining rust.
4) Fitted them back in the car to test them and they worked. So removed again and put some vaseline around the points and refitted.
