I have a uylsse 2.0 JTD 2003, temperature is reading maximum temp and the car wont start keeps saying immobiliser faulty, has anyone got any ideas or had similar problems.

Is the engine actually hot? Or is this happening without the engine running? Most likely to be the temperature sensor, very cheap and easy to change.

Engine cold it as done this twice before but started after a short time .But will not start at all now . Temperature Gauge on max all time . And says on dash immobilizer faulty . Engine still spins over

sounds like you need to reprogram your remote.
If immobilisers faulty displayed the engine will turn over but not start.

To program remote,
hold it near the ignition barrel and press and hold the unlock button for about 15 secs.
then check that doors lock/unlock.
insert key and switch on ignition and see if message still appears.
if it doesn't appear then try starting car.

Hi guys sorry for the delay but found problem in the end . It was the dreaded engine bay fuse box . Got one off Frantic Franc done over a 1000mls job done
