Hi All,


My passenger door won't open when trying to unlock either by remote or key. I just get a buzzing sound from the door when trying to lock / un-lock.


Interior light stays on when driving but goes off when switching ignition off.


Anybody else had the same problem? I have a 53 Ulysse Prestigio 2.0 JTD Automatic

Take off the door card and then see if it works, could be badly fitted or mis-shaped.

Took door card off as suggested and tried opening/closing the door by the handle and key button /internal button. Opening manually was fine but lock buzzes when using either the key fob button or central locking button. Now in the process of getting a replacement front nearside door lock as the door won't lock now lol.

And as for the internal light staying, that was me leaving the button switched on lol.

passenger front door wont lock but have a spare drivers front door lock.

Anybody successfully opened the door lock mechanism to repair?

I think you need to just unscrew the 3 screws and pop up the cover.

But before I try to get at the motor just wondered if anyone had tried this?

Sorted!

The corkscrew from the motor had sheared, just swapped with the one from the spare drivers door and voila!

That saved 40 quid lol.
