warranty

As Fiat have stopped offering extended warranties, I have been looking for something for the Ulysse as the warranty runs out next year and there are lot's of expensive bits to go wrong.

Has anybody tried these people.

http://www.warrantyworks.co.uk/index.php?fromlink=home

They seem pretty good and have few exclusions.

Re: warranty

An update on this!

Spoke to Fiat dealership today AND Fiat are now re-offering the 4th and 5th year warranty on the Ulysse - BUT he doesn't know how long for...

So he is getting me a quote on Monday [will include the full AA package as well], and I reckon I will extend it now if the price is right

Anyone got an old price list that showed the cost of this extension originally?

Re: warranty

Let me know as I would be keen too, I think it used to be about £450 for the 2 years.

Re: warranty

Is this on the Stilo as well. You used to be able to buy years 3 to 5 as manufacturer warranty?

Re: warranty

Not sure - my Stilo is currently covered by some Car Shop warranty, but I can ask when he phones me back next week?!

Re: warranty

Seems a lot and I don't think they will cover a lot of the engine parts as I have LPG now.

Hope the LPG doesn't stop working in the cold, apparently it doesn't vapourise well in the cold. Might have to get Paul to check into it.

Re: warranty

If the above price included FULL AA cover, I would be tempted - I just don't know now....

Re: warranty and Paul vs Poggy on 'proper' degrees ;)

I am not surprised they are not offering AA cover, as Fiat now only offer AA cover for the first year, this was done in the summer just as I bought mine!

I know - the most annoying thing is, I wanted to buy this when I signed on the dotted line, but the salesman said 'ah, no need to worry about that, you can buy it at the end of the 3rd year'

I will need to look at the link Andy put up above, and compare the plans.

The Fiat one is dealer level, I haven't gone with warranty works as I still have 11 months of Fiat.

The advantage of the Warranty Works one is that the highest warranty gives you three years for price of two and it also includes the RT3 sat nav as long as you tell them at start of policy that it is factory fitted.
