2.0 jtd remap

Lookin at gettin me ecu remapped as ive heard great things from my mate with his golf tdi,hes got a friend who will flash ecu and has a list of diffrent programs which suits your driving style.
The only downside is it cost 300quid but i get a warrenty in case i choose a diffrent program or have probs with one i chosen,now ive seem some kits on ebay from 110quid to 180quid so is it worth the extra pennys or should i buy a kit myself.
If theres any decent kits which peeps have bought and used can u supply link also mys a 2.0 jtd on a 00 plate so would this b a bosch model (pump)
