Recall

Hi,

I have been told that the Petrol versions of the Peugeot 807 are being recalled for a fault with the engine management software. The fault is that the engine management indicator light comes on randomly which can cause the servo brake efficiency to reduce.

Has anybody heard of it in the UK for the Fiat. My light came on a few months ago and the dealer reset it. It is possible that they have already fixed it.

Andy

Re: Recall

Hi,

Just found out that Citroen are recalling the 2.0 petrol C8's now as well as well as Peugeot recalling the 2.0 petrol 407 cars.

Must just be a 2.0 petrol problem.

Re: Recall

That is strange as i have been having a problem for a few months now where the car just cuts out at speed happend last week when i was doing about 20 going round a corner ended up on the pavement fiat are going to try to fix it next week but this is there second attempt. I wounder if my problem is linked as it is a 2.0 petrol auto and the esp light has come on a few times.

Re: Recall

Hi

I spoke to Fiat UK & the dealer and no recall for the Fiat has been issued "yet", despite it using the same components.
