Question starting problems

i am having problems starting my ulysse 1.9 TD 1997 in hot or damp and wet weather it turns over but is very difficult to start, i have had new glo plugs fitted but this has not made any difference
anyone have any ideas

i not to hot on diesels but have you ran out of fuel lately at any point? if so could be air in there, fuel filters are a problem on some diesels,
but i am sure someone more diesel minded will reply soon.

have you checked your earth connections make sure they arent loose - coz if its a bad earth the leads will get hot.

what condition was your old plugs in - did they look worn????

the garage showed me the plugs, i am a woman so they were alien to me but he said he had seen ones in worst condition

i am a woman too

well i suggest you either check your earth connections yourself or get someone or a garage to do it for you - if it is a bad earth the leads will be hot!
