| Engine Failure Control system Hi, this is the second time this has appeared now, along with the message "anti pollution fault" on the display on the dashboard. The garage say they cleared the fault the 1st time, but this time i also had a total loss of power and the car was unable to get above 10 miles an hour. I also have whats like a popping noise from the exhaust as the engine slows down through the gear changes. I haven`t driven the car for 3/4 days and now all seems ok, bar the popping noise(like a miss fire) Can anyone help please. Thank you.

| Re: Engine Failure Control system Did you try unplugging the lamba sensor to see if that's the problem?
