Ulysse I 2.0 16V exhaust

Time to replace the exhaust again on my 8 yr old ulysse.

Does anyone know where to get one at a reasonable price (ideally in the Sussex area)?

The problem seems to be mine is the RFN engine (only 1 mounting point on the center box). A number of places I've tried before don't seem to do one for this model.
Kwik-Fit fitted my last one and this time quoted £333.
Another Exhaust centre can fit a Walker exhaust for £216 incl.
They only seem to last 3-4 years so both these seem quite expensive.

I've also had quotes for the parts only - Walker £350 or Euro Flo £230 - so this doesn't look viable.

Interested to know what other owners have done, esp if you have the model with this engine.

Hi

You could try www.onlineautomotive.co.uk

Re: Ulysse I 2.0 16V exhaust

thanks for the reply Sean.

I tried onlineautomotive but they were only able to supply the cat for this engine type.

I rang round a few more tyre/exhaust centres. The best price I got was £192.43 inc vat & fitting at HiQ in Burgess Hill, for a Walkers exhaust with a 2yr guarantee. So they fitted one for me today, they did a good job so I'm happy to recommend them.

I'll add an update to this thread in 3 or 4 years time when this one needs replacing!

John

Hi Cipher,

The parts I had replaced were the centre & rear section. But as I said I've had it done now.
