From My experience, I would check all the electrics work and check if the particulate filter has been done

Mines for sale in the classifieds and all the electrics work.

Do not buy one if the engine managment light is on. It's normal for the front seats to have some wear even at low mileages, the back box is silly expensive to replace, so check that, same checks as any car, like custard on the oil filler cap, then a careful check of MOT's and service documentation to make sure its not been used as a taxi and the mileage is truthfull. The new small Fiat has made the brand cool again, and theres many more of the equivalent Citroen and Peugeots about.

Hi,

I would personally hang on for an Eleganza model for the extra toys you get.
Make sure there are no holes in the roof from taxi aerials. Avoid anything starting with Reg: DU (also indicates a taxi).

Check that ALL electrics work.
If there are any warning lights then insist on them being investigated and the problems fixed before buying.
Check both sliding doors run smoothly.

If you do get an Eleganza check that the radio unit, which runs things like SATNAV and Phone is fully working.

Must have a complete service history.

The rest is as with any other car.

Cheers,

Richard
