Why not 16inch wheels on 2.0 Petrol?

Hi All

Looked at a brochure while in Reg Vardys the other day and noticed that the diesel Eleganza gets 16 inch wheels. I wondered why the petrol only got 15's. Also been considering changing them to 17's, anyone have any experience or know of any reason why I shouldn't?

Cheers[8D]

Hi,

When I bought our Eleganza, I had to pay for the option to upgrade to 16" alloys from 15".

I should see no reason to upgrade to 17", as long as you keep the profile right to ensure correct speedometer readings. It may affect ride comfort, possibly.

Thanks Stu

Just think that the 15's look a bit lost, so I might have a shop around.

Hi leighc
I'm considering some bigger alloys and have found the following site good as it automatically works out what tyre options are possible by car.
http://www.performancealloys.com/
Anyone know what the fiat tyre pressure sensors are like and whether they can be fitted to aftermarket wheels.
