Re: Engine Imobiliser Fault

HI
If you read the post about fuel pump/imobliser fault just below your post it will give you an idea of were to look for the common fault (fiat wont admit any problem but try the fuse box as listed)
Take it that its been raining hard were you live or did you just wash the car?
However i take it you have a new style 03 onward ulysse? if so when you unlock the car and get in you should hear the fuel pump ticking for a brief moment 4-5 clicks. if you dont the chances are when you put key in and try to start the engine turns over but fails to start and the center console says Engine imob fault. If yes try reprogramming the key to imobilliser it might start but who knows when it will pack up again. (this is a easy to do just ask if unsure how to reprogramm key) Hope this helps

Re: Engine Imobiliser Fault

1.put key in ignition do not turn
2.press hold lock button on remote
3.keeping lock button pressed turn key to ignition "on" position (all lights on dash on)
4 wait for 10 sec in "on" position with button pressed
5.keeping button pressed turn back to off position Do not remove key
6. release lock button wait 10 sec and repeat process 3 times
when done stay in car use remote to lock car then unlock you should hear the fuel pump tick if it does it should start Good Luck
