Sun visor

Crack! "it wasn't me" said my wife as the sunvisor swung limply.
Anyone got any technical advice lol or experience of this high tech piece of kit snapping where it holds itself into the correct position. Do I have to buy the complete visor?

I'd suggest a chat with your dealer, or use use of some very strong glue if you still have the broken off bits! :D

Went to the dealer today and the mechanic took a quick look and said it was a warranty claim. The receptionist keyed in the reg plate and got the chasis no, interior and exterior colour codes and passed them to parts. The partsman returned and said he had ordered them (they come as a pair) and would call me when they arrived. Fifteen minutes after driving into the car park I left. Impecable service.

For info the sunvisor arm has broken inside the cloth of the sunvisor above the mirror. This is the part that holds it in place where it's positioned.

Dealer called me today to tell me the sunvisors in. 10 days is staggeringly good in my opinion for a part as obscure as a ulysse sun visor. Going in Wednesday to have it fitted.:D

The nearside folding mirror mechanism keeps sticking on it's way out. Use the manual button several times and it's ok. Any experiences? Dealer said they will look at it Wednesday and may have to order a complete unit.

Having an fm modulator fitted tommorow to connect my 20 gig rio mp3 player.
