Sliding doors

I have just bought a 03 plate ulysse 2.0 jtd 16v elegance and all was ok at the showroom 100 miles away. Having got home the passenger rear sliding door wont open from the inside or the outside. Do I have to travel 100 miles again to use the warranty or can this be easily solved at home
