03 Ulysse Electric windows & Demister

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 03 Ulysse 20jtd. This car has suffered numerous problems and I have resolved most of them with help from reading this site, very helpful , but two problems remain.

I have noticed that this car has obviously undergone major electrical "repairs". Looms have been replaced some time in the past and to my eye they look like a bad botch job. Plastic panels have not been re-secured properly or have been just ripped off the car in the first place and catches have been broken. Anyway I believe these botch jobs to be the cause of my current problems.

The first is that the switch for the electric windows on the drivers door is wrongly wired I guess. The left button operates the drivers window and the right button operates the passenger window whilst the switch on the passenger door does nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

The second problem is with the dreaded heater blower and AC control. This works 80-90% of the time but there is an odd occasion whereby the screen just freezes and the blower refuses to work.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Digger,

Which connectors are you referring to? I've tried the two on the switch on the drivers door but they are not swappable (?) . Are there connectors elsewhere on a control unit or somewhere else I could check?

I'm in Derry btw.
