2004 Ulysse - N/S Light failure

Hi peeps, I have a 2004 Ulysse that up until yesterday hadn't let me down

Here's the problem.

Had to pop out NYE, jumed in the Ulysse, started her up and put on the headlights only to find the N/S one wasn't working. Thought it'd be a new bulb as I'd replaced the offside bulb a month ago.

Jumped in the wifes car and did my shopping trip.

So yesterday, I pop to the local Motor factors which to my suprise is open and pick up a new dipped beam bulb. After much fiddling about manage to get the old bulb out (on inspection it looks ok) and put new one in. Fire the old girl up and put the lights on and the new bulb doesn't work. Not sure if the new bulb I'd bought is a duff one so rather than go out again I take the O/S bulb out only to find this doesn't work on the N/S either.

OK, fuses. Check the fuse for the N/S bulb and it looks ok. To confirm this I swap it around with the O/S bulb fuse and yep its ok.

So, what to do now?? I thought I'd try the Main beam and oh dear, the N/S Main beam doesn't work either

So I'm stuck now. Is there a relay thats involved in the circuit for this ? If so any idea where it is ????

Any help would be greatly appreciated before I shell out and take it to the local dealer

Many thanks in advance

I'll check to see if theres power at the plug Mind you, it'd be a coincidence for both the Main beam and Dipped beam plugs to go at the same time.

Sounds like an earth problem if it affects both dipped and main as it is probably a common earth. Might be worth buzzing it through.

Yes I'd go with an earth problem. Probably a common bolted to body connector.
