i´m new to this Forum. So.... Hello at first.

A the moment i start to rebuild an TJET Engine. Through *oogle i found this great Forum. I read that some guys in UK have succesfully converted from hydraulic to solid Lifters. Anyone able to gave me informations about that?

Because of the head design I think it would be extraordinarily difficult to do (and a real chore to adjust -- it would make shimming a 4 valve Ducati look like a walk in the park).

And then, it's a pretty low revving engine. Is there a point?

thanks for your reply. Yeah, i know with the shimming from the Head. I read that some guys finished succesfully this conversion. So its just for my interest.

I need also any Information about the existing valvetrain (hydraulic). I know that the hydraulc lifters don´t like high revs. Also that they can compensate max. 2mm more lift from the Cams.

Any help welcome. I can´t show picttures from our current work, because i have to less postings here.
