Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | DGT 1.6 Slight hesitation when engine is hot/cold Hi all, just wandering if anyone has experienced with a Tipo the following: when stationary in traffic say for more than half an hour and you go to talk off the car hesitates a bit.it only happens when the engine is either hot in traffic or first thing in the morning when the engine is cold and you do not use the choke. Normal driving is fine. Could it be the pipe connected to the heat shroud coming from the exhaust manifold? I also tested the air intake hose on the air filter and noticed that the flap inside where the hose connects to the air filter does not appear to be opeing when the engine warms up. any tips would be greatly appreciated. The car is 91 with 37K. Thanks Blondie.

It's a carbed engine so I'm guessing this is just something I have to live with. Putting more choke doesn't always help. I'm wondering whether in your case it's either too rich or lean when it's been sitting idle.
