I'm interested in buying one of these Tipos, so I ask for your opinion.:chin: Let's say in start that I don't care how much fuel it consumes, all it's matters to me is that it goes fast and it's sporty. So, which one of these is generally better, which spoils less and which has better performance, which is for your recommendation? I've read technical both of them and realised that their performance are almost the same, and I've heard that 2.0 engine spoils more often than 1.8 and that it consumes a lot of oil and fuel too (much more than 1.8) - is that true? Thanks a lot!

For the UK - i have always understood that the 1.8 16v was never introduced because it was a dissapointment. The 2litre is the one I would go for based upon my Uk experience but the real answer is to look at the spec for cars in your location and if possible drive both as the 2 litre was downrated in some countries to take account of road conditions and fuel quality.

1.8 takes a lot of work to reach 2.0 performance. The 1.8 doesn't have the torque which makes the Sedicivalvole such a fun car to drive.

Not sure where you have read your tech data from but they are different.

I've read some articles on www.fiattipo.de and read this under column "prestazioni" ("performance" in Italian):
acceleration 0-100km/h: 8.4 s (2.0 16v); 8.5 s (1.8 16v)
max. speed: 207 km/h (2.0 16v); 204 km/h (1.8 16v)
These data seems pretty similar to me (I think only about performance, not about torque, hp, ccm, etc), but I'm not an expert and that's why I'm askin' you for your opinion Anyway, thanks for your answers and expect for more answers (very blushingly of me )
