Well it was Mot time for the Sedici today so it was duly dropped off early.A phone call at 2.30 told me simply your car is ready.................IT PASSED !!

Well there is a bit more to it than that - it failed first no horn but my garage chaps left it, made a cup of tea and came back to it an hour later - horn worked so it passed.

Thanks goodness my garage have a bit of a soft spot for the older car..

So I now have an MOT'd , taxed and insured car...........

Hopefully if I have pressed the buttons correctly you will see below My car - J596MDO, my sons first Tipo and a picture taken back in the day when the Sedici could still be seen on the road and there were regular meet ups!!

That last photo is fantastic. :) Such a gathering will never happen again, but it would be cool to bring some FF Tipos together for one last hurrah!

Hi Mike.
Long time no speak.
Glad you still got your black 16v. Sorely miss them. A great all round car. Tardis interior, 4/5 in comfort, quite when cruising, but a great house when you mash the pedal lol. Feel sad now lol

I also got the welcome phone call yesterday saying 'it's passed'. Quite a bit of work gone into getting things right since I bought my 1.4 last June but at 77k miles, running as good as any Swiss watch!! Long may it continue as my daily workhorse. Ever a glutton for punishment, have bought a 1987 Uno now to restore as a runabout for my wife. Ian G

Excellent work and good news. I remember it advertised - did you buy it with an MOT? Be good to see a current photo if you get chance.

Uno's MOT failure mainly due to sills being shot. Am planning to have these and other bodywork repairs done before I take delivery and then to reassemble car from sound base. Waiting for new body parts to arrive first. Will post some photos as soon as I get the car. I thought it was well worth trying to save this little Uno as a similar 1985 model was my wife's favourite car ever!
