Midland Italia tend to hold events either side of Staffs,
Leics / Salop,
and down Bucks / Oxon..run by me ; - )
Charlie - I owned 5 Tipo's and a Tempra,
the Tempra being the only 2.0 petrol
Although I've never owned a fiat myself ( my other cars are vauxhalls) my dad was an avid fiat man , and that's why I wanted one of these , the cars he had when I was young were 86 fiat regatta in white. 88 fiat uno sx ,90 uno turbo ie 92 tipo sedicivalvole , 94 tempra 1.9 tda sw , 96 fiat ulysee , the reason I went for the tipo is as a 10 year old lad , getting picked up in a brand new hot hatch was pretty epic
I was tempted by that Tipo. I think that you have got a great bargain there.

I too was very tempted by it. It sat on ebay for a year or more,price going up and down 9I think as low as £1250 at one point). If I'd been in a position to go view (I'm in another country!) I'd have been there like a shot- but when these were brand new I reluctantly had to NOT buy one from the FIAT dealer as it had a sunroof, so my neck was cricked all the time. I would need to actually SIT in one to find whether I fit- but then I get in my Strada Abarth 130TC easily enough, maybe i've shrunk....................!
