Hi guys.

I've been working flat out on my V6 Tipo project over the holiday break and I'm putting the pedals from my 155 into the Tipo. I'm kicking myself now because I didn't pay enough attention to how the clutch pedal goes together :bang:

I know how the clutch master cylinder goes on, I just don't know whats up with the tube connected to the top of the pedal. I'm guessing it's to do with a return spring. I've included a picture below:

Apparantly this is the same to the Sedicis so maybe someone out there would know.

Any help would be much appreciated

Okay so I've done plenty and plenty of research but I still can't get past this brick wall :bang:

I got my hands on a manual and found out it is for the return spring that points up (another pic included)

...but thats it. I can't find out what on earth it connects to from the pedal :(

Surely someone with a Sedici or a diesel Tipo must know. It would help a great deal as this issue keeps stalling my project

Thank you so much! :worship: I finally get it now. The spring is connected to a bracket that is held in by those two studs from the brake booster am I right? I think I might of accidently binned my one

However I've managed to get my hands on a spring from an Alfa 147. All I have to do is make up one of those brackets and I should be right (y)

Ah yes the ol' "Sit in the chair upside down and slide in on the seat rails" technique. A very popular auto electrical maneuver :)

Mmm... yes I see what you mean, it does seem to be held against the bracket. Looks like my bracket will have to be a custom one.
I took a few pictures of the spring from the 147.

It looks similar to your spring apart from the top obviously and it fits onto the pedal nicely. I might go make a cardboard template for the new bracket based on your photos. It will just have to have a pivot point instead of being held in by tension I think.
