Hey...im new in here, and i know this ain't a Lancia forum but the closest car to my car is the Tippo... so i hope you guys can help me out with my problem...

hello there, im new here and the reason i joined is that im facing a problem with my Lancia and found the the closest car to it is the fiat i guess hopefully i can get some help here...

My car ( Lancia Delta HPE 2.0 Turbo ) is smoking from the exhaust, blue smoke which mean it's burning oil...i tried most of the things that cos a car to smoke and burn oil... replaced the turbo with a new one ( no shaft play at all ) , replaced the Valve stem oil seals with new ones.. but the car is still smoking.. under boost and when u let ur foot of gas, on red lights, and while driving down hill...any help? is there anything im missing in here?...

i also heard a bad PCV can cos such thing...is it true? but i can not locate it in the car..

I recently ( 2 month ago ) replaced the stock turbo engine with the '' Integrale 2.0 Turbo " Engine... and the car began to smoke... i thought it was the turbo , the Mech. inspected the turbo and there was a lot of Shaft-play with it up down and back and forth... , i kept the car running on that turbo for 1 month till i received the T3/T4 garrett and got it installed.. but the smoke kept on comming out...and as i said 3 days ago i replaced the Valve stem oil seals with no success... any help?..

thank u.

thank you for the help...

Piston rings? Try a wet compression test...

Hi there!

Another source of info could be the Fiat Coupe forum (www.fccuk.org), as they were almost all 2.0 16v and plenty of them were turbo too.

Any sign of mayo in the oil filler cap? Could be a headgasket leak.

p.s. any chance of a photo of your beastie? I've always had a soft spot for the Delta but the cost of a really good one is prohibitive.
