I install brand new bulbs and after driving maybe 10 min. both light bulbs burn out. This has happened twice now so I know it is not bad bulbs, Just curious if this has happened to someone? If so what was the fix...just looking for a good place to start. thanks

Hi, Welcome to the FF.
If your bulbs are continualy burning out, it's likely that your alternator is over charging because of a faulty voltage regulator.

having same problem with my vw bora at moment, side light blew other day then tail light blew so changed them both today and 2 hours later headlight blew. i know it is alternator with mine cause when i rev it the lights go brighter.

had the same problem only with indicator bulbs, once the bulb actually exploded 
i noticed that the bulb is a little loose in its place
changed the bulb base ( sorry dunno its proper name ), never had this problem again
so maybe you have some bad connections or faulty plug or something

As he mentions below - the lights get brighter with revs therefore his voltage regulator is defective. It's not likely to be the fault of the bulb plug - they usually cause the bulb to go off rather than blow.
