here in Argentina reached approximately 150 fiat Tipo sedicivalvole between 1989 to 1995 and Cordoba (where I am) only approximately 20. Now there are almost no more

(Sorry for my English, I use a translator)

greetings!

I have a Greenstone 5 door J177UGM .. she has been locked away in a garage for four years .. ive decided to get her back on the road .. she starts and sounds great as ever .. bodywork needs a little tlc .. looking to get it resprayed .. totally original down to the wheels and Recaro seats .. looking forward to getting her on the road .. first hurdle M.O.T. .. need new wiper blades(arms) .. gone to a fiat parts shop(private) ..and they tell me i cant get these parts anymore .. what can i do to get just wiper blades for my original wiper arms .. i can i just change the rubbers ..?? my first day getting odds and sods ..and i cant even get bloody wiper blades ..

Nice to hear a 20+ year old Tipo is getting back on the road.

From experience you can just replace the rubber inserts, but you have to be careful as the brackets break easily. I have certainly bought the whole arm direct from Fiat in the past, not cheap but they will probably still be available even if they have to come from Italy.

Cheers fellas .. I just replaced the rubbers with a bit of jiggery pokery .. she passed her M.O.T .. £600 quid the less (crazy eh) .. next is the respray keeping her the original colour Greenstone .she still needs alot of tweeks here and there seats are good but the door panels and roof lining could do with a steam clean .. if any of you boys are not too far from the London area and have internal spares also other bits that would be great ,,, but just to end YES she put a smile on my face driving her once again .!!!

Dunno if mine counts, since it's in the wrong side of the Atlantic but...

Plate's IEC 2332

Silver 3 door, Nearing 200 thousand Km. Rebuilt the engine in early 2007, after an engine bearing failed, swapped the exhaust system way back when the original got punctured by a rock. No other modifications. No mechanical or electrical issues. In fact, the car's in better overall condition than our 2008 Chevrolet Zafira. Active Daily Driver since day one. Most comfortable seats I've ever sat on.

Yep, the seats are really comfy, but sadly not adjustable for height, my torso is too long. Ö¿Ö

I note that the gearshift boot on yours is the usual floppy stuff.

BTW, I don't think your wheels are smaller, mine are 165/70 R13.
