I have seen ONE other Fiat Tipo of any kind, in real life in the last two years. There is one I occasionally see in our area which is an 'L' reg rusty and dented old banger. The driver of it clearly doesn't notice ME when I drive past him, although I have tried to get his attention!

Does it say 'Sedicivalvole' on the plastic plate under your rear window?

a sedicivalvole would have 2000 16v injection electronic written on the spark plug cover, the back bit can be changed but chances are it's a Grandturismo, don't think this was ever sold in uk though?

Re: Sedicivalvoles that are still alive!

I think it was - or was curtainly going to be available - it is listed in the 1993 catague next to the Sedici. In efffect i think it replaced the old 1.8Ie twin cam.

BTW I'm sure everyone remembers I am a sad b*stard and my Tipo IS a Sedicivalvole, although I replaced the boot trim with a Granturismo one cos I prefer it. I'll have the Sedi one back on for the Brooklands thing!

A sedici will have an engine that look like this... Note the spark plug cover between the cam cover to give the engine a 'flat' top.

Re: Sedicivalvoles that are still alive!

Just put my beloved Tipo 16v back on the road after a 3 year lay-up.

N532 DSG

Owned since 2000, she's totally original other than a K&N filter to replace the big airbox. 64k from new and still going strong. Using her every day at the moment and loving every minute. Forgotten how much fun they were!!

That is one lovely looking Sedici. Where was the photo taken? Where in the country are you based?
