i've just got a k&n induction kit for my tipo today but im having trouble fitting it , can anyone give my advise on how it goes? i've fitted the filter straght on to the inlet but i dont think thats right as i have loads of bits left over and the instructions just dont make sence. any help would be great

but dont worry, if you send me a pict.. of all parts what did you get in package, i can tell you how to fit it /i working in tuning/styling department...

i didn't get any piping to feed it down to where the old filter was, its got a flexy pipe that you have to feed from your front grill and it ends near the filter to get cold air to it but it looks a mess. is there anything that i can use to make a pipe to feed it down to the wheel arch?

Sorry, i posted the image of my 1.6L SOHC cone filter fitting
i've just seen your signature, its a Sedici

one more thing, do as i did, IMPROVISE
due to our market`s high prices ( pipe`s is more expensive than the filter :) ), i had to improvise a piping to fit my filter

it`s a one peace hard rubber tube, i don`t even remember the car that uses this tube
i was going to replace it with aluminum pipe or even a PVC one
the performance satisfies me, so i wont change it

what i mean is, if you can think of anything that will connect the filter at the wing to the inlet, DO IT

sorry again, my bad :)

cheers mate(y) i've sorted it anyway now, i bought a chrome bend pipe from a local performance shop for £18 but it was not long enough so i pinched a solid rubber pipe off of one of the machines at work, it was a perfect fit, and then i've rapped it in a red vinyl, looks well. i will take a picture of it and post it on here.

Am new to this lark and having the same problem fitting K&N to my 16V. Will try some of the stuff here.
