Posts: 388 Thanks: 3 Trader Rating: 0 | 1,4 i.e. timing belt change - camshaft/crankshaft/flywheel marks I have two marks on the crankshaft timing belt pulley - a dash from its centre and a dot. Their location is, say, 3 and 6 o clock. The dot mark is not mentioned in any of the manuals available to me (incl. Haynes and Porter) ATM, the setup is that the dot is at 6 o clock position when the camshaft notch is aligned with the protruding mark on the plastic cover. There is a "double line" mark on the flywheel located against 0° mark on the bell housing (i.e. it looks like a TDC mark) at this crankshaft position, however, I noticed there is another mark on the flywheel - a notch the color of which is doubtful, possibly white/yellow (it was getting dark ).Is the existing setup correct? The engine is plain 1,4 i.e., code 160.A1.046.
