If I can get hold of the digitial dashboard out of a DGT, is there any easy way to get it to fit into a 2.0 i.e? Just a thought, I always preferred the digi to the dials

i have one sitting here mate, As far as converting it... Anything is possible..
Oh i even have the original wiring plugs on the back of the dash... P.M me if your intrested..

Dazzo (y)

I did that on my Tipo, took out analog and put in DGT.
1. get the DGT table
2. get the original wiring plugs from DGT because they are NOT same as on analog-cut them of in length about 5 inches
3.you will need the impulse generator for speedometer-it is on the gerabox
4.wire color for analog and digital table in the dashboard are SAME
5. if you have a Tipo wiring scheme-its a piece of cake, if you dont have it,the only problem will be connect that impulse generator-it has 3 wires:+12v,-12v and impulse

I want that book....... Is that a proper Fiat jobbie???

yeah, it cost me a whole £12.00 for 4 ring bound manuals. only up to 93 though. I've only really looked at a couple of them... one of them is just service updates and reports of common bugbears.

sweet, was that a flea bay bargain....

nope, it was slap bang in the middle of ebay a few months back... and i miscounted... there's 6 of the folders. I only keep the one with the 16V stuff handy but it's mixed in with the TD stuff and other bits like the dash and electrical schematics.

Can any of you guys point me in the direction of the schematics for the Sedicivalvole's clocks please?

I'm determined to get this done mate - Carter has just offered me one without plugs but I can't get it off him unless I have the schematics for the Sedi's clocks or I won't have a clue how to convert it.

Might check ebay.de

Hello there, my second message.

Wow, what a great gift from Tony!
These diagrams are all I need to replace my analog panel by one digital I just bought on eBay.de.
I am looking now for that special vacuum sender which drives the two lamps (red and green) of the vacuum (econometer) display.
The speedo impulse sender found easily even new and after 15 years but the vacuum sender is not so, an used one in good working order will be great.
Any tips?

Thanks.

I have just bought the dash off Carter

Unfortunately I know I am going to end up destroying this unit without the wiring plugs -

SVC - did you get the original wiring plugs with your unit from ebay.de?

Has anyone done this conversion without the plugs, and if so, how please?

Hello Christian,

I don't really know if I will get also some connectors. I didn't ask the German lady and now is too late.
As soon it arrives I let you know.
Anyway, maybe some connectors already in the car's wiring could be used if same size.

At worst, a short and flexible multi-wire cable can be used, welding its wires on the panel's PCB internal tracks and connecting each one to the car's wiring through a simple screw bar connector.
This is not the perfect way to do but will work okay.

Hang on for a couple of days, let me get my panel and I will try to guide you after my trial and error experience.

If I am correct, one problem that I can see about your Sedici Valvole is about the oil pressure and temp gauges that are not available on DGT panels.

i know this thread is old, but i think the info should be out there

all info in this thread also works for the Fiat Tempra digital dash.

i have the Diesel Tempra dash and have been looking for the wiring colours and pinouts for a while.

i have some more info on the diesel dash if any one wants it, please check the attached picture. it does need more info though:
