My friend is selling an unfinshed x19 project. It dosent have tax or mot and jas 65k on the clock.

Its a 1981 x19 with the 2.0 lancia delta 8v non turbo engine fitted. He has owned the car for 7 years and still cant find the time to finish it due to work commitments.

The body is in a reasonable condition for its age. It was stored in his shed for some years and moved to his garage.

He has a box full of spares, including wheels to go with it.

Offers welcome. It is stored in NE65, hadston. Northumberland

Would love to see someone buy this and get it back on the road... Or has it already sold? What a great project.

I always used to keep my eye out for X1/9's for sale when they were more common - and spied one for sale at a local car dealer - about 20 years ago. The car was advertised as a standard VS. I popped along to see a duo-tone blue car with tan leather but when I went to the rear of the car the exhaust and lower end looked a little different to me? Curiously I popped open the engine lid and there was a Lancia 2.0 twin-can fitted! The dealer had absolutely no idea the car was not standard..... Mind you........It went well though the brakes needed some shoving!
