Technical Wing Mirror Replacement?

Anyone with access to a Manual CD got a picture of how to swap a wing mirror?
Ours has always had a cracked black surround from the first owner and I've just sourced a 2nd hand one off an SX4 for peanuts.....
Anyone know how to remove?

I've got an old Mirror with a cracked case. It was replaced by the garage so I didn't see the process but looking at the old mirror fittings I'm guessing you remove the inside cover and unbolt the mirror and electrical connectors.

Hopefully these pictures below will help.

Do modern cars even have wing mirrors?

If its the mirror on the doors they are door mirrors or as we used to call them a good few years back "overtaking" mirrors lol!

I know I'm being a pedant but really wing mirrors were just SO non-aerodynamic!

there are 3 nuts under the cover on inside of door, there is connector plug just maybe 5inches lower inside door panel
