15/56. our normal sporting have 15/58.. not sure how much of an overall even minus 2 teeth on the diff would have.
Hi Criag
I think this means 5800 rpm at 100 mph would instead be 5600 rpm at 100 no sums involved, sorry.
The non sporting sei 1108 boxes have a very high final, but the intermediate gears are different & further apart, but the OP may want that. It is for a quite life on the M way, my sporting is like a siren on the M way...

in terms of 5th gear iirc 5th on an SPI box is 1:0.83 which is right on the money for 41/34, so I think you've got a stock SPI 5th gearDigging through a box in the garage today I came across a pair of gears.
I seem to recall from the dim and distant past that this is a 5th gear pair, but I don't know whether they were ones remove for the fitting of a longer gear set, or if these are the longer gear set.
On the other hand they might be something entirely different.
They came from a former member of the parish along with his 1108 engine i bought.
The gear with the syncro teeth on it has 41 teeth, the plain one 34 teeth.
Any thoughts?

If its an LSD then go to Quaife or Bacci
