Technical Where do I find the thermostat in my Fiat?

Pls can anyone help, my Fiat Palio 1.2 EL (2002 model) overheats and I'm trying to locate the thermostat. Can anyone assist and tell me where to find it in the engine please.

follow the coolant hose from the top of the raditor, it goes directly to the thermostat housing.

overheating on the 1.2 is usually due to head gasket failure, so check for that.

In my experience overheating is usually caused by a faulty electric fan or the thermostat sticking shut, which may result in head gasket failure. Don't forget to bleed the coolant system and use 50/50 antifreeze and water.
