I seen a Audi TT pimped out before going onto the M60 nr Stockport, the wheels were at an angle pointing outwards??? only by a small fraction (10 degree's max) why are they like that???

Re: Re:wheels on an angle???

yeh might of been 'negative camber', seen alot of touring cars like that! it was going down the M56 then off onto the slip rd towards Stockport, must of easily been doing 110mph, 80mph is pushing it on that corner!!! How much does it cost to do have a negative camber??? cheers guys :)

Re: Re:wheels on an angle???

It costs tyres :) When driving straight it wears the inside of the tyre VERY VERY fast. Fine on race cars but not road cars.

Re: Re:wheels on an angle???

negative camber usually means you've ****ed up your suspension, usually by lowering. I've seen a renault 5 round my way. been seriously slammed. iirc they use a torsion bar at the rear, which has clearly not been adjusted well, as the wheels are well and truly dodgy. they might even be 18's it has to top it off!!
