When removing the wheel arch lining (ePER 46724422) for variator issues, I found that it was only fastened with two screws (nine holes). Now when putting it together I'm getting ready to order the missing screws/parts.

Question:
What does the bracket(?) look like that the frontal innermost hole/screw (marked in yellow in pic (viewer discretion/ugly repair) fastens to on a M2?

The b-95 (being from 1995) should be an M1 and thus fasten directly to the Crossrail ePER 46731098, but instead the car seems to be equipped with the M2 46755088, which is shorter. I'm assuming there is a bracket between this Crossrail and the lining(?). Currently there is just thin air behind the hole on the b-95, which has been bad news for the lining (meeting the wheel at speed)...

Thanks,
tjr

Mine doesn't look particularly secured either. I doesn't look like the wheel arch comes close enough to the end of the radiator support rail (at least on the passenger side) to be attached to it. My passenger side rail doesn't look to have the swept back part that's seen in the ePer diagram
On the drivers side the swept back part is there but isn't attached! That was probably me when I changed the radiator.
I can't see any evidence of my rail being cut but I suppose it could have happened, we need photos from a more pristine B to be sure
Hopefully the pictures below make sense

Thanks @Wiltshire Chris, much appreciated!🙏

It would seem the two frontal attachments (mid/mid and low/outer) are sufficient to separate the lining and 🛞🤷‍♂️

FWIW newer Fiat 500’s do not seem to have its inner side of the lining fastened either…
