General what a difference a day( and a new petrol tank) makes

finally replaced the ageing petrol tank on lillblue and hey presto no over heating problems and bubbling when engine stops, i banged out the old tank, after it had dried out and got an egg cup full of rust out
im guessing that the ****ty petrol was making her run soo lean that she was struggling to keep the heat down.
so its off to tax her again and see if shes reliable again, fingers crossed
