Got a free upgrade from basic TV to their top package for a year after they lost Sky 1/2/3 last year.

Offer ran out and they put my bill up without mentioning it.

So I complained and the credited me the difference and put the offer back on for life.

i have virgin for internet and phone

i have freeview for tv and that does me

used to have it in me room but i only watched like 3 channels so got it took out, we have it downstairs though, but tbh its a bit naff. Freeview is fine for my needs of BBC3 lol

when i moved into this house, i thought i would miss sky, but i dont.

We never got it as most of the time my mrs will get in a huff as most things on sky/virgin are not subtitled, so she would kick up that much, i would let her find something and we always ended up watching something that was halfway through and part 3 of 6 of something and it pissed me off.

Freeview is enough tv for me.

Dave is enough tv for me!

We still get to see what sky and virgin like as both ou parents have one of them, and nothings changed. We just dont see the need in paying for a service one of us cannot use fully and to cause arguements.

However if virgin rang me up and said we can have it free on top of what i pay them now- i wouldnt say no
