Hi all.
Now that Ruby is approaching 2 years old (where has the time gone?) it seems like a good idea to give the regularly used sunroof a bit of a a service. The main item being, as far as we can see, is to clean out the old grease in the mechanism which seems to slowly attract dirt and replace with fresh.
I have called our local dealer to ask what they use and apparently they don't They have never stocked or ordered a specific grease for either retail sale or workshop use.
I was thinking a silicone type grease would be best, less messy than conventional grease. Looking at the original stuff it looks like the opaque grease I used to use in my model RC cars differentials.
Would any one have any suggestions?
