Why's that you not enjoying it? What is an MTB? I'd love to get into racing but never really investigated to any great extent. One of those things you just dream about until you wake up one day having missed the boat. What sort of budget do you need to get started; not talking about competing for top ranking positions, but for a competant setup.

I remember that from a few years back. The guy was setting the off-road speed record down the side of a volcano and the front wheel collapsed. Got away with grazing and bruises. Madness.
