I was thinking would it be poss to remove a section thats damaged and weld in an undamaged section as was thinking about your idea of an angle grinder and taking out the corner of the marea in hindles and welding into mine and save it going into a bodyshop

Still have to go into a bodyshop, best to ask them what can be done - especially now they have the boot to see how much they need to move the rear quarter by.

to be honest i think its going to be alot of work as the damage is more extensive that it first appeared, the enitre section around the light needs pulling forward then rounding of and inside the boot lit frame needs rebuliding from scratch really
