Technical rear opening windows

how do the rear windows come out - i'm assuming its a case of undoing at the catch end then opening the window untill it comes away at the hinge end-is this right? also how does the fastener at the catch end come out of the glass?

there is a bit that turns from the inside. get two screwdrivers in there, hold the fitment on the outside of the car to stop it spinning, and then turn two screwdrivers, it will align witht ehtwo cut outs you can see. Then just withdraw it!

As above. But the easy way to do it is to undo the allen screws which hold the hinges on, then take the glass to a safe place and undo the little grommet things.

thanks - will be taking them out over the next week or so to put tints on (light smoke or dark smoke - haven't decided yet) - just been out debadging tonight-then we can get the janspeed system fitted at the weekend - and next month i'll be looking for a lowering kit - only want to drop it 20mm so prob springs only - shocks are still in good nick - should be with my low mileage!
