Styling Rear lights

Hi all

Im doing up my 1989 X19. Im in the process of having bodywork done. I need suggestions really and wondered if anyone could share some info with a newbie.

The problem: I want to change the rear lights, either with a cluster or separate round lights that fit flush to the body (imagine the Ferrari F355). Can anyone recommend a vendor or somewhere that specialises in this kind of thing. I've googled stuff but haven't really found anything useful so I'd really appreciate a reply from someone whos done this before.

I Am Putting A Dallara Bodykit On My Car Atm " My Car After A Few Mods" (Thread)

I Was Thinking Of Doing Them Lights......I Did Find Some Lights Like That What Would Work, There Are Some Land Rover Lights That Are Round And Look The Same As The Style You Want....And They Were Flush Not Sticking Out And Were Pretty Cheap As It Is Land Rover Parts.

I Never Got Around To Making Tho...So I Can't Help You Much More.

Your Best Chance Is To Wait For Jimbro...As He Knows His Stuff And Prob's Knows Someone Who has Done This Before.

I have seen it done before but I have yet to see anyone make a good enough job of it. The proportions are all wrong to get that Ferrari look so it normally ends up a bit of a mess. Saw some reasonable attempts on xweb a few months back. Try taking a look there for inspiration.
