OH has complained about a noise (oh the irony:devil:)- she thought it was exhaust
so after a quick drive i notice two things

one a slight rattle which i think is exhaust when revs are dropping at low speed...or dipping clutch

and a seperate noise also a rattle sound but only found it to do it at full wheel
lock turning right...didnt seem to do it the other way

so any ideas from those random descriptions?:worship:

Other sources of exhaust rattles can be broken manifold heat shield or broken bracket below the cat - it should be connected to the bell-housing but usually rusts away - assuming you have a 1.2?

If it comes and goes with the clutch, then it could be gearbox input shaft bearing - they're known to fail. Will be noisy in neutral and quieter with the clutch depressed.

A long screwdriver placed on the suspected source and held to the ear can help locate it.

Or brake disc shield rusting away? Maybe a trapped stone? Pads & shoes OK?
