General Part needed

Help!!!!.. hello i live in ireland. Im rebuilding a fait ducato motor home engine 1990 . I need but cant find a second hand excaust manifold.. it looks like a hand with four fingers spread out and a rist. If you get my meaning..anybody know ware i can get oni on the other hand have sime great pkaces to find some parts ..if needed..

Hi

If you can find out the exact engine type/code that's fitted, you might find a scrap car that is fitted with the same engine and if you are lucky the manifold will be the same shape.

If you have an original manifold but it is damaged/cracked it might be repairable if you can find a specialist welder who is used to dealing with cast iron

Failing that, you could have a "fabricated" manifold made up from steel plate and piping. Again, a specialist job and will be more expensive but you don't know till you ask.
