Panda Pandora

Project Panda.

Introduction

So here is my Panda when I first got her. My sister had a diesel that went on forever, so I purchased a petrol one.
The colour was the reason to buy, never seen another Panda in this unusual colour in Cornwall.
1 jobs, change the radio/cassette player for my Alpine CD player, then add my personal reg to car. Followed by a pair of black side wing indicators. Bought a pair of chrome indicator bulbs to replace the amber coloured ones in the headlight unit to freshen the face up a little.

Hopefully the stripes will look similar to this. Plus my 10mm spacers and new fiat badges for the centres

Hell, that was a good price, well done. Bought Pandora at a local garage for £1650, FSH, with 75000 on the clock, came fully serviced and 2 months warranty. Colour is: Verde Guacamole (looks lime green to me) yellow interior. Very happy with the car, very nippy, park anywhere. i have a BMW E46 convertible on the drive to use in summer too. But she will not squeeze through heavy traffic, or tiny back roads in Cornwall like my little girl does.

Keep a close eye on the corrosion areas. Back axle, mud trap behind front suspension struts, rear wheel arches and sills. A low cost endoscope camera will allow you to check inside the box sections before and after treating with Dinitrol or LanoGuard.

So I have added the strips on 24th of May down the sides, and a Dash of Lime on the sun visor. With a fiat badge flanking each side. Refitted the front splitter for better look and fit.
Bought the splitter on Ebay, made for a Fiat 500 really. Then added a pair of black strut braces to hold into place.
So today I vinyl wrapped the two grille side pieces either side of the headlights in matt black to stretch the grille look.
Tonight 13th June added some lime green coachline vinyl stripes on side stripes to make them POP a little bit more.
Plus the front grille too to carry the cars theme of colours. It's all really to make Pandora different to other pandas, and maybe get
the younger people interested in the brand instead of Japs ( JDM ) and German stuff, BMW, AUDI, VOLKSWAGEN. Being different
is the key and a good thing, transforming a boxy type car can look Cool IMOHA.
Today (14th june) I vinyl wrapped the bumper bar which my reg sits on, then moved to the bonnet to give the look of air vents (it's just a look, nothing more).
Around the back adding more vinyl to the lower part of the bumper to change the tallness out of the rear end.

I'm really having lots of fun with mine to be honest, I adore the colour 733A, but not keen on the name . Trying to change the look without a big spend.
Plus what I have changed can be undone in a day I'm guessing to put her back to original condition. Did some more tonight on the front end, will load some more pics shortly. Plus the back bumper too to cancel that tall blocky kind of look. Watching car programmes does pay off every now and then.
