Hi all
I've just bought an Uno 45, 1990, very original and just 24,000 on the clock. It belonged to a schoolteacher and has a pretty good service history.
Shall I start with all the usual questions?
1. What do I have to look out for as normal problems?
2. Bodywork (Yes, I know ). I live 50 yards from the ocean, so am a little
concerned.
3. Handbrake is a bit iffy, will adjustment do the trick or is it
new cable/cylinder time?
I haven't had a good look under the car as yet but the body is alright except for seam rot at the bottom of the doors. Passenger door mirror cracked/broke and the arrester pipe from the airbox/manifold is missing.
It looks like it will be fun, cheap motoring.
Any of your hard earned knowledge would be most welcome.
Cheers
Dave
