Might just do it ya know, i gotta get practicing, or even if i pay, cant be that much and i know a few guys who could just do the spot welding on.

Spot Welding....wouldnt really recommend tbh if MIG or arc welds are available. Having spot welded numerous things in the past and being able to watch the welds corrode a lot in the space of a matter of weeks (its due to the localised heat spot welding causes, MIG and arc give it over a larger area and much more uniformly)

looks gud, theres a bit of a gap going on at the bottom.
how did u finnaly decide to ova come the hitting the lights problem

Thes is the first few stages of my bad boi bonnet

i fort it would be cheaper to make my own and i hav a few skills i could use!!

So enjoy!
will update soon

The i drew round the light cut outs on the bonnet to make the metal patchs, firstly on carbord (left) then in metal (right)

Then the cut plates were spot welded on the bonnet!

The out came the filler to cover up the mess. after that i used 'primer filler' paint to show up where i have got to use more filler. The drivers side needs less filler than the passenger as it was gettin l8 and the filler dust got to me.

I also took off the fiat badge

here ar the final pics - all i have to do now is filler the last few bits, re-primer and paint
