Technical MK1 Red Key?

Ive got a mk1 punto sporting which Im selling for my sister-in-law but it's only got 1 blue key and no red key so I bought a second hand set of locks which came with 1 red key and 1 blue key its also got the matching engine ecu too (which I heard it needs if the red key is lost?). I know there are ways round the red key but as im selling I would like to have one but the problem is when I fitted the new ecu and ignition lock barrel the car wouldn’t start and the key code light was on. What can I do to get it working??
Any help would be appreciated as i know nothing about Fiats.

Oh dear. Where is that located on the car?
If I cant get this are there any other ways around it to get a red key?

Why do you need the red key? My punto came with only a blue key and it is fine without a red.

Because im selling the car and if anyone who looks at the car and knows it should have a red key might be put of buying it or knock lots of money off it.

ive got 2 blue keys(mk2-on a 'W' plate/2000)is this right?

red key 'unlocks' the code box for programming (this is not used on mk2 punto as this is done via Fiat diag equipment/code)
